Skin Cancer Screening Event
Our annual skin cancer screening was held this May at our Grants Ferry Clinic. This event is sponsored by the American Academy of Dermatology and was held in collaboration with the Women's Dermatology Association and is part of National Skin Cancer Awareness Month. We wish to thank the physicians and staff of UMMC Dermatology who volunteered their time to offer free skin cancer screening to UMMC employees and members of the public by appointment. This past year, 107 patients were seen, and multiple significant precancers and cancers were identified.
